The Art of Loving by Olivia Dean After listening to this album, I really understand why Olivia Dean got the "Best New Artist" grammy. This album has charm, and it really is something enjoyable to listen to, especially when doing something productive. I'd definitely re-listen to this album again! Favorite Song: Loud
Anike by Anike For my first listened gospel album this year, but I did enjoy it! I don't mind listening to modern-day Christian artists and I think that it's cool how Christians can be creative in the music industry like any other non-religous artist. However, I did find the album a little forgettable tho 💔 Favorite Song: MAKE ME NEW
Antenna by Petland While this album is kinda close to what I normally listen to, I didn't enjoy it as much. I felt like half of the songs I listened to I didn't really get or understand. Some of the tracks did get my attention, and the album cover is really cool but besides that I didn't find this album memorable at all. Favorite Song: Exist
FROM FLORIDA'S FINEST by SAILORR This album was pretty decent. I think that this is the first album that I've listened to this year w/the prettiest aesthetic. However, I think that some of the songs were a little too lustful for my liking, but it was still a nice album! Favorite Song: W1LL U L13?
ABC on Tv by Annemarie For an album that's (I believe) is in the "Jangle Pop" genre of Spotify, I think it was pretty good! It reminded me of other artists I listen to like Heavenly and The Cardigans, so it wasn't something that I'm new to. However, I found some of the tracks to be forgettable so I'll see if I can re-listen to this album again and develop new favorites overtime. Favorite Song: Bubble Gum I See
AIN'T NO DAMN WAY! by Kaytranada This album was a little different from what I normally listen to. I personally liked it, but I was shocked that majority of the songs had little to no lyrics in it. I think that's it great to listen to if you need to focus, but I personally think that it's mediocre. Favorite Song: DON'T WORRY BABE/I GOT U BABE
The Best of Sade by Sade For my first listened album of the year, I really enjoyed it! I don't typically listen to hour-long albums but this one definitely stood out to me because of how calming each track was. I found listening to the instrumentals really relaxing, and it was a perfect choice not only while I was doing something productive but a great way for me to learn more about Sade's music and develop my R&B music taste. I definitely reccomend! Favorite Song: Is It A Crime
