About lilysecret: Website Q&A
- 1. What's the name of your website and why?
- My website's name is "lilysecret" because I initially wanted my site to not distinctly show that I made it. I added "lily" because only my bff calls me that and "secret" because I didn't want aqquaintances and unfamiliar people from my school to know.
- 2. What audience is your website directed for and why?
- PG-13 (Teens like myself but I don’t mind adults as long as they’re respectful since those are the 2 main age groups on Neocities) because I discuss media that’s mildly inappropriate for kids and some media that I consume and links page are for older audiences.
- 4. What version is your site in? How often do you change your site layout?
- lilysecret is currently in version 2. I change my site layout pretty often so some of the pages are similar to version 3 of Lily's Web. For me, if I plan on coding a new version of a site I start by making the first version be based on a tutorial and then go on from there!
- 5. When and where do you update your site? Are all of your updates tracked?
- I update my site every Friday on a normal week, and more frequently the more days I’m off for. Most of my updates are tracked on my Update Log or on my Neocities profile.
- 6. What’s the color scheme for your webpages?
- Light blue and white unless it’s a shrine.
- 7. Is there any flashing lights or bright colors on your site?
- Not really. Compared to older versions of my site I've also managed to use less graphics like blinkies and stamps. I might make a "Graphics Hoard" page though.
- 8. Where do you get images or graphics from? How can I access them?
- I get most of images and graphics from the websites in my “Links Out” page or Pinterest. You could save (please do not hotlink) the image to your device directly from my website!
